Have you ever feel stuck in the middle of college life? As if, your enthusiasm for studying your major is draining to the last drop. You began to skip classes, procrastinate projects and homework till the due date, or even, considering dropping out. You may find it crucial as it will lead your path and career in the future. Do not rush out. Take a step back, have a serious contemplation whether you’re going to continue or stop here.

For A Mean Time, Live the Life You Already Had

Don’t give up too soon. Think about the tuition fees you (or your parents) have already paid. Give it your best to adapt with your major life. Who knows that, later on, you’ll end up falling in love with what you hate today!

Find the Right Reason

Maybe the problem is not your major. Maybe you have terrible professors who are giving your college life a nightmare. Maybe it’s your surroundings, or even the books you cannot comprehend. Know that every problems has its solution, it may help you finding solutions to overcome your weariness.

Try to Find Fun Things in Your Major

Sometimes fun little things help us to deal with this hard life. Try to find little things you like in your major or, communities, or activities happening among your peers in your major. Some people feel uneasy when they enter their major for the first time, but they find it easier to adapt when they have found little things that attract their interest and made them have it through.

A Little Chit Chat with Your Parents

Complains from your parents are to be expected, but you should still prepare enough time to talk with them. Especially when they fully fund your college tuition. Do not chicken out, address your issues honestly and express the real reasons behind it. Considering that they have lived this life longer than you, your parents may surprise you with opinions and advices you haven’t consider before.

Accept and Move On

Should you can no longer hold out your problem, maybe quitting is your best option. Make sure that you know fully that your current major doesn’t fit your true passion, and that you have been accepted in another university/ college before leaving.
